Bryce Romanowski and Omar Jahwar, graduates of Booker T. Washington High School in Dallas will be performing with the legendary jazz saxophonist Lee Konitz and Chicago virtuosos Corky Siegel and Orbert Davis, in a special benefit concert, Celebrating William Russo: Artist & Educator, Dec. 7th at the Jazz Showcase.

This special tribute to Bill Russo includes the first CD release of the award-winning Columbia College Jazz Ensemble (CCJE), which was established by Scott Hall and Bill Russo in 1999, and creates big band music, performing internationally, often in concert with renowned jazz artists
