Industry analysts say December car and truck sales in the U.S. could hit $34-billion, topping the all-time record set in August

Why the rise? Deals. How does 0% financing and manufacturers’ rebates sound?

Analysts say dealers want to hit their quarterly and year-end quotas. They also want to move new 2013 models off the lot to create room for 2014 models.
