$1 Million Texas Lottery scratch off ticket redeemed by Mesquite resident

Play the Games of Texas Texas Lottery(AUSTIN) – Rajan J. Thomas of Mesquite claimed a $1 million second-tier prize in the $500 Million Frenzy scratch-off game today. Thomas purchased the winning ticket at the Beverage Station located at 11709 Seagoville Road in Balch Springs. The store is now eligible for a $10,000 retailer bonus for selling the winning ticket.

This is the 24th of 40 $1 million prizes to be awarded in the game, which features more than half-a-billion dollars in total prizes. In addition to the 17 prizes of $1 million each, four $2.5 million top prizes and millions of prizes from $20 to $25,000 currently remain unclaimed. 

Overall odds of winning any $500 Million Frenzy prize are one in 3.06, including break-even prizes.
