Singleton to head up the Tupac biopic

John Singleton according to Variety is going to re-write, direct and produce the Tupac Shakur biopic project. He was previously linked to the project but Singleton has planning to head the project before but funding fell through over two years ago. 

He will now dive into writing the new script draft and finding someone to play Shakur. 

No word on if he will confirm the fact Shakur is really still alive and living in the Bahamas. Unlikely, but not confirmed.
