Ms. Sanders has not been seen since Sunday, Feb. 23
Ms. Sanders has not been seen since Sunday, Feb. 23

Critical Missing Elderly Person Lillie Sanders was found slightly dehydrated but alive during a neighborhood search conducted by family, South Central Dallas police officers and Dallas County Sheriff’s deputies this morning.

The Dallas Police Department shared this announcement:

Family of Critical Missing Person Lillie Sanders and South Central Patrol officers organized a search this morning of the area that Ms. Sanders was known to frequent.  Joining the search were off-duty members of the Dallas Sheriff’s Office, who, upon searching an abandoned shed behind an abandoned house near Owega Avenue and Ramona Avenue, found a slightly dehydrated but alive, Lillie Sanders!

Ms. Sanders appeared to have made some preparation as she was found with a pillow and a change of clothes among other items.  She was immediately transported to Parkland Hospital by Dallas Fire Rescue ambulance for examination and treatment.

Sounds like Ms. Sanders is rather resourceful. So nice to see a happy end to story like this for a change.
