Storm knocks traffic light down; US380 temporarily closed between Dallas Pkwy and Preston

rain signThe traffic signal at the intersection of US 380 and Preston Road has been knocked down by the storm. US 380 is currently closed between Dallas Parkway and Preston Road, and motorists should avoid the area and take an alternate route.

Traffic on westbound US 380 is being diverted north on Preston Road.  Traffic on eastbound US 380 must turn north or south onto Dallas Parkway. Motorists diverted to the south can use Eldorado Parkway as an alternate east/west route.

The time for repair is not yet known, so motorists should expect delays on US 380 for the next five to six hours, until the traffic signal can be put back into operation sometime tonight.
