Dallas man wins $2.5 million from Texas Lottery scratch-off game

100x the cashAUSTIN – Although he enjoys the occasional draw game, Dallas resident Victor Juarez says scratch-off tickets are his favorite, and it was the 100X The Cash scratch-off that ultimately paid off for him. He was at home when he scratched his way to an “unbelievable” $2.5 million prize.

“I just thank God for blessing me and allowing me to help my family,” said Juarez.

With more than $183 million in total prizes, the 100X The Cash game features overall odds of winning of one in 2.86, including break-even prizes. Five $2.5 million top prizes and eight second-tier prizes worth $100,000 each currently remain unclaimed.

The BC Mart at 300 S. Marsalis in Dallas is eligible for a $10,000 retailer bonus for selling the winning ticket.

  1. …glad to see somebody win who seems to need the money – of course I don’t even think Bill Gates will admit to having too much money…I hope this person is able to do something good and lasting with the money…I’m told that most lottery winners are broke within five years after winning the big one…
