They keep telling us the economy is getting better — some of us are still not quite feeling it. So to help stretch your dollars (and pennies because they do add up) here are four websites which can help you save money.
This is an app that will save you money TODAY. You will be surprised how going just a few blocks up the street can save you 5 cents or more for no apparent reason. I also enjoy comparing the prices closer to my job versus my home. I once saved .13 per gallon by getting the gas at Kroger in Irving instead of any locations in Garland. No idea why, but I sold on the free GasBuddy app that day for sure.
This is a worldwide community of folks who don’t want the hassle of a garage sale, Craigslist, etc. they just have usable stuff and are willing to give it away. The Dallas Fort Worth area is very active with several of the cities having their own forums. I have used this in the past and picked up a nice side table I still love, free pet food which lasted for months and other odds and ends. Once you sign up you have to be quick because it is usually a first come first serve way of doing things.
Looking for calendar to fill track family appointments, pages for your kiddo to color so you have 5 minutes of silence, or coupons to save money with — then it looks like Free Printable is the right spot.
This website says they can help you find a better price for your prescription – with or without insurance. Also, includes coupon info – who knew prescriptions came with coupons? According to the website they can compare prices with nearly every pharmacy in the U.S.
