Man recorded women in Dallas restaurant bathrooms

The Irving police department has been very busy reviewing over 1,000 videos of women in public restrooms recovered from Andrew Crawford Boden’s house and work computer.
The 65-year-old Boden was arrested this past Summer on an improper photography charge after police in Grapevine discovered a video camera disguised like a wall plug in a Braum’s bathroom. Boden was also arrested on a similar offense at a Corner Bakery by Irving police. Improper photography or video recording is a felony and punishable by a fine of up to $10,000 or two years in jail.

Irving police spokesman James McLellan stated that Boden confessed in an arrest warrant affidavit that he had placed hidden video cameras in several other women’s restrooms in restaurants throughout the Metroplex. Police confiscated cameras from a Corner Bakery, Starbucks and Smashburger in Irving and a Kroger in Dallas. Boden will be charged a separate count for each and every person recorded on in the videos.
Police have stated that they do not believe Boden shared or sold the videos. Boden is no longer jailed after posting bond.
