Shonda Rhimes new pilot will star Mireille Enos and filmed in Austin

Look out Texas Shonda Rhimes is headed to town, with a new leading lady: star of “The Killing”, Mireille Enos for her new pilot for ABC The Catch.

Enos will play the lead, Alice Martin, a woman who investigates fraud for a living. The thriller follows her as she’s about to get married — and about to get conned. And unbeknownst to the man she’s about to marry, Alice is not all she claims to be.

“The Catch” hails from Rhimes and Betsy Beers, the team behind ABC mega-hits “Scandal,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “How to Get Away With Murder.” The project, which will shoot in Austin, Texas, is based on the novel from Kate Atkinson, who will serve as a co-exec producer with Helen Gregory.
