Gander was rescued from a shelter in Pueblo, Colorado where his human was born and trained in a women’s prison at Canon City, Colorado. He was later then selected for training by Freedom Service Dogs and paroled to his battle buddy in Chicago. He now travels the country with his veteran, Lon, who has PTSD and autoimmune mobility issues.
