All four Richardson ISD high schools were recently ranked among the top 7% in the United States in the recent U.S. News & World Report Best High School rankings.

Pearce HS – Top 3%
Richardson HS – Top 4%
Lake Highlands HS – Top 6%
Berkner HS – Top 7%

“We are gratified that our high schools measure up to their peers across the state and nation,” said RISD Superintendent Dr. Kay Waggoner. “While this news is positive, much work remains and we are committed to continuous improvement as a district.”

The rankings are based on a combination of advanced placement participation and performance, and academic performance on state assessments.  Visit the Richardson ISD website for ranking details.
