Reps. Johnson and Veasy scheduled to speak at Dallas Regional Chamber Congressional Forum

The Dallas Regional Chamber (DRC) announced its fall lineup. With over 250 meetings and programs per year, the DRC hosts more than 10,000 professionals in the DFW region. Upcoming events focus on a variety of topics that impact the regional business community, including public policy, education, and professional development.

Congressional Forum

Aug. 12Westin Galleria Dallas – Leaders of our North Texas U.S. Congressional delegation will discuss important federal-level issues impacting our region. Topics covered will include immigration, health care, infrastructure, and federal budget priorities. Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson (tentative), Rep. Pete SessionsRep. Jeb Hensarling, and Rep. Marc Veasey will join us at this informative luncheon.

State of Technology

August 25 – Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre – Hear from Oracle Chief Executive Officer Mark Hurd, who will dive into the evolving tech industry and share his insight into what’s coming up next. Get a first-hand look at Mr. Hurd’s journey to becoming a Fortune 500 CEO.

2015 State of the District Luncheon – Sept. 22 – Sheraton Dallas Hotel At the 2015 State of the District Luncheon, Dallas ISD Interim Superintendent Dr. Michael Hinojosa and Board of Trustees President Eric Cowan will bring the business community up to date on the results of the 2014-15 school year, present their plans for improving the preparedness of students for the workforce, and take questions from business leaders.
