With TXDOT’s plans to expand State Highway 183 and West Airport Freeway, the Irving ISD Administration Building is experiencing some changes. These changes include relocating the Tax Office from the south to the north side of the building, restructuring the building’s entrances and modifying the parking lot.
The Tax Office has been relocated to its new, permanent location. The building’s main entrance (which faces West Airport Freeway) is currently under construction. During this phase of construction, the front entrance will be closed and visitors and employees must enter the Administration Building through the entrance on the north side of the building. The building’s main entrance is expected to re-open by the end of August.
District officials apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding.
