Saturday, December 12, 2015 (8:00am – 11:00am) Oncor Mayor’s Race 5K & Fun Run will take place in downtown Dallas starting and finishing at The Reunion Lawn. The City of Dallas has approved the following road closures for the 5K and 1 mile fun run.
- PRE EVENT SET UP: The following streets will be closed from 8:15am-10:30am Reunion Blvd E. from Hotel St. to Market St. and both Houston St. and Jefferson St. Viaducts from Young St. to Colorado Blvd. E
- 1 mile Fun Run (Starts at 8:30am): East on the Reunion Blvd. E, south on Houston St. and participants will U-Turn on the Houston St. Viaduct, west on Young St. (one lane) to Reunion Blvd. E. and finish east of Sports St.
- 5K (Starts at 9:00am): East on the Reunion Blvd. E , south on Houston St., left on Marsalis Ave., u-turn on Marsalis Ave. at Addison St., over the Jefferson Blvd. Viaduct through to Market St., west on Young St. (one lane) to Reunion Blvd. E and finish east of Sports St.
Sunday, December 13, 2015 (8:00am – 2:30pm) The Dallas Marathon will take place in Dallas starting and finishing in downtown. The City of Dallas has approved the following road closures for the marathon and half marathon race.

The Dallas Marathon, Half Marathon and Marathon Relay start at 8:00am on Sunday, December 13, 2015. A comprehensive traffic plan has been developed by the Dallas Police Department in conjunction with the race organizers in an effort to minimize traffic interruptions and is available at the Dallas Marathon website. The Dallas Police Department will work traffic through the route as necessary and roads will reopen as the race passes each intersection.
