Hispanic Chamber hosting Viva Dallas! 2016 Health and Wellness Expo

healthy heartThe Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Presents Viva Dallas! 2016 Health and Wellness Expo Sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas on Saturday, Jan. 16. The event will include free health screenings, health insurance enrollment provided in English and Spanish              

The Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GDHCC) is hosting Viva Dallas!, a free health and wellness expo that will include free health exams for blood pressure, BMI, mammograms, hepatitis B, vision, cholesterol and glucose. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) is sponsoring the expo and will provide on-site educational information about health insurance and in-person enrollment assistance from counselors in English and Spanish.

Medical providers include UT Southwestern Medical Center, Parkland Health & Hospital System COPC, Baylor Health Care System Carter Blood Center and South Texas Dental.

The Viva Dallas! 2016 Health and Wellness Expo kicks off at 9 a.m. at the Fair Park Dallas, Tower Building located at 1300 Robert B. Cullum Blvd in Dallas with free parking available in Lot 5.
