Life’s realities begin when you realize bills need to be paid and kids need to be tended to. If life came with a “how to book” on how to take care of kids, the world would be a perfect place. But unfortunately it doesn’t life is driven by trial and error. “I’m Still Your Mama” is a story about how a single mother does any and everything she needs to do to take care of her children and how her son disowns her because she didn’t live up to his standards.
I was wondering why you decided to acknowledge Diamond and Silk. After reading your article, I am glad you wrote it. History tells us we are recruited when needed and rejected when not. Trump is hating on imigrants today and Diamond and Silk after election. I wonder if Diamond and Silk spent more time on what goes into their head, instead of what goes on top of their heads; would they feel the same way about Trump?
