AARP offering last minute tax help on April 18

aarp texasIRS-trained volunteers will provide free tax help with basic tax forms particularly for elderly, handicapped and non-English speaking taxpayers Monday, April 18 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Library’s Basement Program Room. April 18 is the IRS tax filing deadline day.

The tax help, sponsored by AARP, is first-come, first-served. Tax filers should bring a 2014 tax return, Social Security card and all records relating to the 2015 tax year.
