As a local chapter to an international organization that values all lives, our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of all victims of last week’s incidents in Minnesota, Louisiana and Dallas, Texas.

Many of our chapter members serve in our local law enforcement and we support them as they put their lives in danger daily to ensure our safety. Some of our chapter members’ families were present during the time of tragedy in the streets of Dallas and we are thankful for their safety. It is my sincere belief that no one life is more valuable than the next and we pray the continued safety of all.

We are a community conscious organization and we will continue to look for ways to Get Engaged and enact change in our communities. As stated by our international President, I too “ask that you join the social media campaign ‪#‎TheirLivesMatter‬ created by our Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated by posting pictures of your children, other significant persons in your lives, including law enforcement officers, using the hashtag ‪#‎TheirLivesMatter‬.
