Who will Clinton choose as her vice president running mate?

As the 2016 presidential election draws closer to an end in November between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, Trump has already made his nomination for Gov. Mike Pence as his vice president running mate, but Clinton has yet to make her choice and the Democratic National Convention takes place next week in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Before the convention begins, who will Hillary Clinton pick as her vice president running mate?

According to MSN, Clinton appears to have narrowed her list of running mates to about two or three and her final decision is likely to occur on either Friday or Saturday, before the Democratic National Convention kicks off.

MSN also reported that some good choices for Clinton to choose from are Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and Ret. Admiral James G. Stavridis.

Sen. Tim Kaine is a former mayor, governor and a chairmen of the Democratic National Committee.

MSN believes that Kaine would be Clinton’s safest pick because of his breadth of experience, his even- tempered demeanor and his ability to help put the state of Virginia back into the Democratic Column again. While Kaine was Lt.  Gov and Gov. of Virginia, he took full advantage of the state of Virginia’s lax ethics by governing public officials and accepting more than $160,000 in gifts between 2001 and 2009.

“Former Iowa Governor and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack would be a great choice for Clinton.” MSN reported.” He is one of President Barack Obama’s Cabinet members and he has a long- standing friendship with Clinton.” “He’s a political veteran who would bring considerable political smarts and gravitas toward Clinton’s campaign.” “Vilsack is likely to help Clinton pull out a victory this fall in Iowa, which is an important battle-ground state that leans red.”

Clinton’s third best choice would be to pick Ret. Adm. James G. Stavridis.

According to MSN, former Ret. Adm. Stavridis is a four- star Navy Adm. and Nato Commander. He is currently the dean of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.

“Stavridis has worked closely with Clinton while she was the Secretary of State.” MSN reported. “He boasts experience overseeing NATO operations in Afghanistan, Libya, Syria and the Balkans.” “With Trump and his allies blasting at Clinton for serious missteps in Libya and Syria, Clinton might realize that having Stavridis on her side might be a good thing to have when the campaign really heats up in the fall.”

Although MSN reported that Kaine, Vilsack and Stavridis are the best choices for Clinton to choose as her vice president running partner, four other people are being noticed. Those people are Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, HUD Secretary Julian Castro, Labor Secretary Thomas Perez and finally Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, who was seen a few months back supporting Clinton from Trump.

The question everybody wants to know, is who will Clinton pick as her vice president running partner? The answer will be revealed coming up on Friday or Saturday.
