The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Every year more than 15 million babies are born prematurely; a million will die before their first birthday as a result. Register now for the inaugural March of Dimes Dallas Run for Babies on Saturday, November 12 at Nebraska Furniture Mart:
8:30 a.m. • 5K – Individual & Team Challenge
9:30 a.m. • 1K – Individual & Family Fun Run / Walk
All are welcome to participate — corporations, community organizations and families, as well as individual runners and walkers of all ages.
A performance T-shirt, chip timer and finisher medal are included in the registration fee. Participants who register for both the 1K and 5K will receive a 10 percent discount. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Team Challenge, Top Male and Female Overall and Top Male and Female by Age Group.
