Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated – Kappa Zeta Chapter and Stork’s Nest Charity Fund of Dallas (SNCFD) is sponsoring a mobile food pantry at Viola’s House. Hosted in observation of Hunger Awareness Month, this event will benefit the residents and friends of Viola’s House. This event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to Noon.
SNCFD sponsors a Stork’s Nest program in Dallas. The program is designed to promote prenatal care participation and encourage healthy behaviors during pregnancy, through incentives and education.
Viola’s House holistic approach strives to help expectant teen mothers make enduring, positive life changes. They take a preventative approach and provides a comprehensive second chance prevention program. They are located at 1819 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. in Dallas.
The mission of the Mobile Food Pantry and Distribution is to help address and lessen the impact of insecurity of expectant families in communities identified as food deserts.
