It was a night to remember. On February 20, 400 guests swarmed ALG Collective to celebrate 25 curated artists who will be donating original artwork to Thrift Studio, Dwell with Dignity’s largest fundraiser. The 30-day luxury home furnishings pop-up shop, hosted by Honorary Chair Shay Geyer of IBB Design and Art Chair ALG Collective, will be open to the public for shopping April 2nd to May 2nd with 100 percent proceeds benefiting Dwell with Dignity’s mission to transform lives through design for those struggling with homelessness and poverty.

The Art and Color Party premiered the original art pieces, curated by Artist and Gallery Owner Debra Ferrari. Over 100 artists submitted artwork, and only 25 were selected this year as Thrift Studio continues to flourish and gain prestige.  ALG Collective, a working artist studio and showroom for Anna Curnes, Melissa Ellis, Christi Meril, and Annie Griffeth – who also serve as the 2020 Thrift Studio Art Co-Chairs – served as a beautiful backdrop for the event.

Thrift Studio, the 30-day pop-up shop to be held from April 2 to May 2, will feature luxury furnishings and original art that are dramatically discounted with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting Dwell with Dignity’s mission to transform lives through design for those struggling with homelessness and poverty. The items will be magnificently displayed in stunning vignettes created by Dallas’ leading interior designers: Cathy Kincaid Interiors, Leslie Jenkins Interiors, Madre Dallas, M. Wilcox Design, Morgan Farrow Interiors, Pickering House Interiors, Twelve Twenty, and Lindley Arthur Interiors.

Prior to opening to the public, Thrift Studio will host an Opening Preview Party on Wednesday, April 1, 6-9 PM, featuring cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and the exciting first chance to shop through the wonderland of luxury home furnishings and art. General admission tickets are $125. VIP tickets are $175, offering premiere shopping between 6 pm – 7 pm and an elevated culinary and mixology experience.

The 2020 Thrift Studio, benefiting Dwell with Dignity, will be held April 2 to May 2 at The International at Turtle Creek located at 150 Turtle Creek Blvd., Suite 207, Dallas, TX 75207. The pop-up store will be open Monday through Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm, and is free to enter. Further information and tickets to the highly-anticipated Opening Preview Party can be found at www.thriftstudio.com or by calling (214) 599-7974.
