2 Nights of Trick-or-Treat Fun in Plano

Looking for something fun to do with your children this Halloween? The city of Plano has two opportunities on two different nights with Boo Bash and Kids Night Out.

Plano Boo Bash is a new event making its debut on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 5 to 8 p.m. Head to the Tom Muehlenbeck Center where children 12 years old and younger will enjoy free carnival games, costume and art contests, and door prizes. Boo Bash is sponsored by THOMASx2, The Original Pancake House, The Home Depot and Plano Parks and Recreation. The Muehlenbeck Center is located at 5801 W. Parker Road.

The Plano Police Department’s Kids Night Out is a long-time community favorite. Bring the kids to Plano Market Square Mall, 1717 E. Spring Creek Parkway on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 6 to 8:30 p.m. for this safe, free trick-or-treat alternative. Children from kindergarten through fifth grade can come indoors and visit approximately 20 booths, operated by local civic organizations and businesses for your child’s trick-or-treating fun. The Plano Fire Department will bring a fire engine to the event, so don’t forget the camera. The Martial Arts Center of Plano will be performing martial arts demonstrations. Other activities include face painting and temporary tattoos.
