Irving ISD’s Crockett principal recognized

Irving ISD’s Crockett Middle School Principal Raymond Edwards was honored by the NAACP as the 2012 Educator of the Year recipient for the Irving-Carrollton-Farmers Branch Chapter. Edwards was awarded for inspiring students, improving student performance, closing achievement gaps between student populations and promoting excellence in education. This marks Edwards third year with the district and ninth year as an administrator.
