Letter to the Editor: If Kensley Stewart does not respect our community how can represent us?

kinsley pic-1Join me in voting for Allan Meagher and John Danish for Irving city council.

I am a small business owner and I will not sit by and let our city be turned over to a man who does not respect our community.

Take a look at these pictures from Kensley Stewart’s (Allan E. Meagher’s opponent in District 2) Facebook page. It’s apparent what he thinks of the African American community. Recently the attached photo was visible on Stewart’s Facebook profile but is no longer there.

The future of Irving depends on your vote. These elections can be won or lost by as few as 30 votes. Your VOTE counts!

You can Vote on Monday, June 10 and Tuesday, June 11 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Irving City Hall.

Election Day is Saturday, June 15, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at your Irving polling location. If you don’t know where to vote, please contact Dallas County Elections at 214-819-6300.

Anthony Bond, Irving

Editor’s Note: We visited Stewart’s Facebook page today from a link on his campaign website, and the photo provided by Mr. Bond was not visible on his page. However, this photo featured Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price’s face imposed on someone in handcuffs is viewable.
