Urban League Garland offers homebuyer workshops for new buyers

Low interest rates and low property values makes it a buyer’s market for potential homeowners. The Urban League Community Service Center in Garland is offering a free Home buyer Workshop on Saturday, August 10; 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Audubon Recreation Center, 342 W. Oates Road, Garland, TX 75043. Lunch and refreshments will be served.

Topics to be discussed include budgeting, savings/IDAs, credit counseling and restoration, shopping for a home and maintaining your home.
