For the past 78 years, Social Security has been a vital source of retirement security for seniors. Social Security has always been there for us, even in times of economic uncertainty.

Social Security keeps millions of seniors out of poverty, enabling older Americans to buy groceries, pay for medical expenses, and remain independent. Many believe we need to strengthen Social Security, not cut it.
