Cousin shares via Facebook the missing LSU student was not found alive

chris-broussardChris Broussard, 22- year-old LSU student, was reported missing via The Times-Picayuna. He reportedly sent a text around 1 a.m. on Tuesday morning to his mother Lisa Broussard indicating he was on the way home from a party. However, he never made home. His Silver 2004 Nissan Frontier Kingcab with a New Orleans Saints license plate and it was later recovered.

Now via Facebook, his cousin Katie Greenlee shared a post about an hour indicating Broussard was found, but not safely as hoped. Her message on the Facebook, Find Chris Broussard page read:

“I wanted to say thank you to all of you on this page. My cousin has been found, but the worst we thought is true. Just keep my aunt, uncle, cousin, the rest of our family, and his fraternity in y’all’s prayers.”

Christian Post is reporting a police helicopter located the truck with the student’s body. No official statement has been released by police.
