Omar Epps’ new TV show Resurrection premiered with strong ratings for ABC Sunday night

Omar Epps’ latest TV show, Resurrection, debuted to strong ratings last night with 13.3 million viewers and a 3.6 rating. 

According to E! News, these number have earned the series the title of the best midseason drama debut since NBC’s 2012 premiere of Smashand makes it ABC’s best audience/demo in the time slot since January of 2010/11.
