Christophe Guillarmé show at Paris Fashion Week inspired by films

Christophe Guillarme - Collection Automne-Hiver 2014-2015 - Miss

Christophe Guillarmé was inspired by the film Who are you, Polly Maggoo?  about the romance of a model looking like Twiggy. The film-maker is the photographer William Klein, a precursor in his demarche far from the establishment at the end of 60’s. The appearance of the Op’art and the psychedelic Goa influenced Christophe in his researches of embroideries and the application of ribbons to find a graphic esthetic. Unbridled but girly silhouettes for a modern Barbarella.

The looks were perfectly completed by the shoes and cluches of the Brazilian brand Carmen Steffens.

Meanwhile at the show, several celebrities and VIPs were present on the front row of the Christophe Guillarme Paris Fashion week show:

The actresses Joséphine Jobert in a golden mini dress, Flavie Péan in a short white and gold dress. The presenters Aida Touihri in a beige lacework, Laurence Roustandjee in a black lace mix with nude tulle, Annabelle Milot in a short gown covered with feathers and Eléonore Boccara in a white lace strapless dress. The socialite Hofit Golan in a short pink jersey dress and the choreographer Mia Frye in an asymmetrical red chiffon sheath preferred the color.

Hayley Hasselhoff David’s daughter and plus size model just after a shooting for VOLUP2 magazine, Christine Kelly, Emmanuel de Brantes, Eriq Ebouaney, Firmine Richard, Ludovic Chancel and his wife discovered the collection too.
