Kwasi Enin was accepted to all eight Ivy League schools, plus Duke and three State University of New York System schools. At a press conference at his high school he announced that Yale was his selection. Enin scored a 2250 out of 2400 on the SAT, took 11 AP classes in high school. A music lover, he also played the violin and sang in an acapella group.

On top of this he volunteered at a hospital’s radiology department, and plans to become a doctor. He is a first-generation Ghanian-American, with both of his parents working as nurses.

According to Enin, Yale won out because of their music programs and the financial aid package the school offered.
