Did the Patriots deflate the game balls?

footballThe NFL just can’t seem to do things without controversy this year. We won’t rehash the off the field things, at least two of the NFC playoff games were tainted by officiating controversy (no we won’t relive that pain just yet). Now comes a report that possibly the New England Patroits blowout of the Indy Colts was perhaps assisted with usage of deflated balls.

Bob Kravitz of WTHR.com and NBC’s WTHR-TV in Indianapolis reports the NFL is looking into whether the Patriots “deflated” game balls during their 45-7 victory over the Colts on Sunday night. Kravitz reports a ball was taken out of action to be weighed.

If the allegations are found to be true, read here to learn what their possible punishment will be.

If the NFL does not get a grip on things on and off the field in 2015, they will begin to really kill the golden goose.
