Will Smith already has a diverse and eclectic resume that includes music, film, and television. But in an interview with Tracy Smith for CBS’ Sunday Morning, he said that with the United States’ current political climate as it is, he may end up setting his sights on the Oval Office, too.

“If people keep saying all the crazy kinds of stuff they’ve been saying on the news lately about walls and Muslims, they’re going to force me into the political arena,” Smith told CBS News.

  1. If Will wants to become a politician, he needs to start now – where he is currently living with little stuff like his neighborhood and city. I have never heard of him doing anything but entertaining. A politician should be a servant of the people – not just another court jester. That’s partially what was wrong with Ronald Reagan – the B movie actor from Hollywood. I am not impressed with the idea of an entertainer who decides he wants to be on another stage with another audience. Representing the people is a serious matter or at least it should be. Will is only another entertainer – not currently qualified to represent the people.
