At the reception held on May 24 at the Black Academy of Arts and Letters in Dallas, Who’s Who Publishing Company unveiled its Inaugural Edition of Who’s Who in Black Dallas. Chanel Christoff Davis and Terrell Davis were presented with this coveted award that evening. The husband and wife sales/use tax consulting team (Davis & Davis LLC-Sales Tax Consultants) was honored with their individual positions in the 300 page Dallas book featuring the most notable black business and community leaders in the Dallas, Texas metropolitan area.
An individual’s selection to appear in this publication is unique and met with distinction, therefore the inclusion of both spouses is uncommon and quite notable. Who’s Who in Black Dallas highlights 267 local recipients of this award in categories including business, politics, corporate, groups, education, medical, community and civic organizations. The award winners were gleaned from submissions based upon the contenders’ professional affiliations, community activities, and memberships in a variety of associations and organizations.
The Davis couple was honored by their inclusion in this prominent group of Dallas elite. Terrell believes that the firm’s eleven years of proven success and continuous growth were contributing factors to their selection.
