Dallas County DA John Creuzot scheduled to speak at Hamilton Park United Methodist on November 10

From the courtroom to the pulpit, Dallas County District Attorney John Creuzot makes headlines.

He is an award-winning lawyer with more than three decades of experience in the criminal justice system. Creuzot has earned a national reputation for his innovative work with drug courts, criminal justice reform, and evidence-based sentencing.

It was announced this week that Creuzot will be the guest speaker at Hamilton Park United Methodist Church, 1881 Schroeder Road in Dallas on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. Dr. Sheron C. Patterson serves as the Senior Pastor of Hamilton Park United Methodist Church.

“DA Creuzot has a word that we all need to hear about the criminal justice system in Dallas,” according to Dr. Patterson. “This is a crucial time for the city, and the church needs to give full attention to what is taking place in order to stay involved.  The church has a vested interest in the criminal justice system.

Hamilton Park United Methodist Church is a historic church. They strive to provide a contemporary vision to be relevant and real inside and outside its walls. The congregation maintains a strong commitment to the historic Hamilton Park Community, formed in the 1950s for middle-class African Americans.

“We are excited about what DA Creuzot will tell us,” Dr. Patterson added.
