The Dallas Police Department has issued a statement indicating that a man wearing body armor was observed at President Donald Trump’s rally this evening.
Someone brought the man to the authorities attention and after observing and confirming that he was wearing body armor apparently someone in law enforcement spoke to him. They did determine he had a weapon but he did have a lawful license to carry.
According to their report, following an investigation he was was taken into custody and transported to an area hospital for an evaluation.
Trump is speaking at a rally in Dallas at the American Airlines Center this evening downtown. However Democratic nominee Beto ORourke to overwork is also hosting a rally at the same time in Grand Prairie.
