Bishop Arts Theatre offering an online teaching artists opportunity to share with bored students

Kids getting restless and need a different creative experience? Bishop Arts Theatre is hosting a teaching artist showcase. To date, Bishop Arts has impacted nearly 6,000 students via in-school learning and after school programs.

While classrooms are empty and the theatre is dark due to COVID-19, creatives are still innovating. The theatre’s staff and artists cannot wait to welcome visitors back to the theatre, but in the interim, they invite you to enjoy their teaching artists for a LIVE Zoom Showcase on Friday, April 24 at 8 p.m.

Donations will be accepted for the Beyond The Classroom: Teaching Artist Shelter In Place Showcase and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the artists.
