SMU student sexually assualted

Southern Methodist University issued a crime alert for sexual assault on last night, following an incident with two students. One student claimed to be sexually assaulted in the parking lot at SMU by another male acquaintance in the wee hours of Sunday morning. There was a crime alert sent via email to make everyone aware of this happening, and police are investigating the crime.

“This is the fourth crime alert that SMU police have issued this year for sexual assault, according to its website. In August, a student reported that she was sexually assaulted by an unknown male near a SMU Law building. Earlier this month, an SMU student was indicted on sexual assault charges, after a student reported that he raped her in February.”
