ARLINGTON, TX — The Dallas Cowboys and the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation (NMOHMF) partnered with EVERFI® from Blackbaud® to host Character Playbook LIVE at the Museum’s Kearby Theater.
The program focused on integrity, leadership, and courage, featuring Dallas Cowboys Tight End Jake Ferguson, Medal of Honor Recipient James McCloughan, NMOHMF President Chris Cassidy, and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Brooklyn. Charlotte Jones, Cowboys Co-Owner and Chief Brand Officer, welcomed students and helped kick off the experience.
Approximately 200 Arlington ISD middle school students attended in-person, while thousands joined virtually nationwide. The discussion highlighted the core values of the Medal of Honor, shared real-life stories of bravery, and emphasized how students can demonstrate character in everyday life.
The event is part of the NFL’s Character Playbook, a free digital program created with EVERFI®.

EVERFI® teaches students how to build healthy relationships, make ethical decisions, and apply core values.
The program includes classroom modules aligned with Texas and national education standards. Medal of Honor Recipients such as Patrick Brady, Roy Benavidez, and Melvin Morris will be in attendance.
Moderated by Chris Cassidy and hosted by Dallas Cowboys Radio Sideline Reporter Kristi Scales. The session will also include virtual appearances from players with the New York Giants and Arizona Cardinals.
Location: National Medal of Honor Museum – Kearby Theater, 1861 AT&T Way, Arlington, TX.
