FRISCO — The holiday season is arriving in Frisco, and Kaleidoscope Park is ready to light up the community with a full lineup of festive events. As the Park enters its second winter season, visitors can enjoy a special holiday edition of SaturYAY, along with seven one-day events, including the Holly Jolly Stroll and Roll, Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, Shop Local Holiday Market, How the Grinch Fights Hunger, Kaleidoscope Live Holiday Concert, Fireside with Friends, and a Chanukah Menorah Lighting.
Holly Jolly Stroll and Tree Lighting Kick Off the Season
Festivities begin on Friday, Nov. 21, at 6 p.m. with the Holly Jolly Stroll and Roll, a family-friendly parade encouraging participants to decorate strollers, wagons, or wheelchairs. Pets are welcome, and participation is free. Those interested can sign up at kaleidoscopepark.org.
Immediately following, North Texas Performing Arts will take the stage at 6:30 p.m. for a holiday performance. The second annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony begins at 7 PM. Illuminating the Park’s 45-foot Enchanted Christmas Tree with 42,000 synchronized lights. From 7:30 to 9 p.m., the Plano Symphony Orchestra will perform, sponsored by Capital One. Guests can also enjoy complimentary cocoa and cookies, children’s crafts, mini train rides, themed photo opportunities, and special appearances from Santa and live reindeer.
During the tree lighting, visitors are invited to participate in an Angel Tree adoption, supporting local youth through the nonprofit City House.

SaturYAY Holiday Edition and Market Fun
The following morning, Saturday, Nov. 22, marks the return of SaturYAY Holiday Edition, running weekly through Dec. 20 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Activities include:

Mini train and sleigh rides sponsored by Bank of Texas
 
On Saturday, Nov. 29, the Shop Local Holiday Market runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring 15+ vendors with handcrafted gifts, winter treats, and child-led businesses from Young Tech Pioneers. Vendor applications are available online.
Grinch-Themed Food Drive and Concerts in December
On Saturday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., How the Grinch Fights Hunger benefits the North Texas Food Bank and Move for Hunger, offering a food drive, vendor market, music, and a free raffle. Online donations are accepted at Move for Hunger.
Later that evening, Kaleidoscope Live Holiday Concert takes place from 7 to 9 PM. Featuring local school groups and the Plano Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets, and Military, Veterans, and First Responders are invited as honored guests.
Thursday, Dec. 12, 7–9 PM will feature Fireside with Friends. An exclusive donor event with s’mores, cocoa, holiday tunes, and campfire stories. Seating is limited; Friends of the Park membership is required to participate.
On Sunday, Dec. 21, at 3 p.m., Chabad of Frisco partners with the Park for a Chanukah Menorah Lighting, including crafts, traditional music, and a 12-foot menorah illuminated on the Performance Lawn.
Season-Long Festivities and Support Opportunities
Throughout the holiday season, the Park will be illuminated with sparkling lights, including sections sponsored by CoServ. Kaleidoscope Park continues to serve as a community hub where families can celebrate, connect, and create lasting memories.
