SPCA Pet of the Week – Primrose

Just like her name suggests, Primrose is ready for her moment to shine!

This beautiful 2-year-old pup, with her sleek black-and-white coat and warm, loving eyes, is a gentle sweetheart who’s just waiting for the right person to help her blossom.

At 47 pounds, she’s the perfect size for cuddling, adventuring, and everything in between. Primrose might start off a little shy in new situations, but it doesn’t take long for her friendly, affectionate side to shine through.

(SPCA of Texas)

Once she trusts you, she’s all heart — the kind of dog who melts against you for snuggles and leans in just a little closer every time you pet her.

She’s wonderful with people and gets along great with other dogs, too, making her a lovely fit for a calm, friendly household. Her gentle nature and soulful gaze make it impossible not to fall in love. And when she looks up at you with those expressive eyes, it’s like she’s saying, “Thank you for loving me.”

Primrose is one of the SPCA of Texas’ Longtime Lovables, which means her adoption fee is $0! That’s right—you can bring home this loving girl and all the joy she’ll bring completely free of charge.

Primrose is more than just a pet — she’s a loyal friend in the making, a gentle soul with endless love to share. Come meet her and see why this sweet girl is ready to bloom right into your heart.

Find Primrose and plenty of other wonderful pets waiting at SPCA.org.
