NDG Gossip: Those are fighting words, say ‘BBW L.A.’ cast members

By Tonya Whitaker

After watching the last episode of Basketball Wives L.A., I am starting to feel this show is better than the original. I know Shaunie O’Neal is probably still upset with the direction BBW has taken and smacking her lips over some of the “trash” on the show. But, I cannot help but watch the gall of some of these women. The stinky attitude of some the BBW L.A. ladies makes me cut my eyes.

The fight between Malaysia Pargo and Gloria Govan was a disaster waiting to happen. I do not recall the original cast of BBW cast partaking in hair pulling, girdle exposing fights. It is a shame that women have to step to that level. Also, I didn’t like how Laura and others came down on Tanya Williams. If you didn’t see the episode, Williams sat quiet to herself while Pargo and Govan were beating the crap out of each other. Williams defended her choice to stay out of the mess; but no one was buying it. Are these women so classless that they cannot empathize with the one woman on the cast who shies from drama?

How dumb

Soulja Boy has found a way to piss off all people who have and still protect and serve. According to Young, Black and Fabulous the rapper said in his song Let’s Be Real, “f@#k the FBI and the army troops … fighting for what? Be your own man … I’ll be flying through the clouds like I’m Peter Pan.”

What was that fool thinkin’? Did he get a bum rap from his high school Army recruiter? Regardless of the hate he portrayed in this song, what a way to honor those who died and fight for your freedom to say stupid mess in your crappy rap songs. He has since apologized, probably because some stores decided not to sell his CD. SMH.
