Appointments for $99 mammograms still available at TRMC-Sunnyvale

In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Texas Regional Medical Center at Sunnyvale will offer mammograms at a reduced price throughout October. In addition, the hospital will host a special Mammogramathon event Oct. 26.

Texas Regional Medical Center at Sunnyvale continues to offer $99 mammograms throughout the month of October and in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. However, appointments are filling fast.

“TRMC-Sunnyvale performed 30 mammograms between Oct. 1 and Oct. 8, which shows women in North Texas want to do what they can to safeguard their health,” said Darrin M. Casola, TRMC-Sunnyvale’s director of imaging services.

Some appointments are available during TRMC-Sunnyvale’s special Mammogramathon, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Oct. 26. Women attending the event will be offered chair massages, snacks and many giveaways.

Please call 877-554-TRMC (8762) between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays to schedule an appointment. TRMC-Sunnyvale will file each patient’s insurance paperwork if necessary.

American Cancer Society recommends women 40 or older receive screening mammograms once a year.
