The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc Talent Hunt

For High School Students

The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Alpha Iota Iota Graduate Chapter, announces its 22nd Annual Omega Talent Hunt.

The event will take place on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Plaza Theatre, 521 West State Street in Garland.

The purpose of this event is to showcase, in a competitive environment, the special talents possessed by our high school students.

Categories in the Talent Hunt Contest include:

  • Music: Vocal and instrumental; classical, gospel and jazz
  • Interpretive Movement to Music: ballet, modern dance and tap
  • Speech: Poetry, orations, monologues, etc.
  • Visual Arts: painting, sculpture, etc.

Prizes to be awarded for 1st Place are a Trophy and $300.00, 2nd Place- a Trophy and $100.00, and 3rd Place- a Trophy and $50.00.
