Deadline for Microsoft scholarships is Feb. 1

Microsoft, a world leader in software, mobile phones, tablets, video games, and more, has announced that they are giving away millions in scholarships this year. They are offering four different types of technical scholarships for the 2013-2014 academic year to current undergraduate students: General Scholarships, Women’s Scholarships, Minority Scholarships, and Scholarships for Students with Disabilities.

To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled full time in a Bachelor’s degree program at a 4-year college or university in the United States, Canada, or Mexico at the time you submit the application. Plus, they must be making satisfactory progress toward an undergraduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline such as electrical engineering, math, or physics.

The deadline to apply is Feb. 1. Students are encouraged to get started on the application process right away!
