Nick Cannon added to popular Mardi Gras parade

On the occasion of their 20th anniversary, the Krewe of Orpheus has announced a surprise bonus to their 2013 lineup. The host of the NBC hit America’s Got Talent, Nick Cannon along with previously announced Celebrity Monarchs Harry Connick, Jr., Gary Sinise, Mariska Hargitay Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, Tillman the Skateboarding Bulldog and The Imagination Movers.

The Orpheuscapade entertainment will be hosted by movie, television, radio personality and former Orpheus Celebrity Monarch, Jay Thomas and headlined by Harry Connick, Jr. The lineup also includes Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Party Crashers and Vince Vance & the Valiants with special performances by Tillman the Skateboarding Bulldog and Norman the Scooter Dog.

The parade rolls on the eve of Mardi Gras, Monday, Feb. 11, followed by the Orpheuscapade, where music and fun rule the night.
