As a member of the House Committee on Corrections, Rep. Rose will be working on legislation that pertains to matters of incarceration and rehabilitation of convicted felons, both adult and juvenile.

The committee also oversees the establishment and maintenance of programs that provide alternatives to incarceration; as well as the construction, operation, and management of correctional facilities.

Rep. Rose was also selected to serve on the House Human Services Committee. The committee’s jurisdiction includes: oversight of the Health and Human Services commission, and the prevention and treatment of intellectual disabilities; and its programs. Rep.
