Citizenship Workshop scheduled in Plano on Feb. 9

The Plano Multi-Cultural Outreach Roundtable is hosting a Citizenship Workshop at the Sockwell Center located at 6301 Chapel Hill Boulevard, Plano, Texas on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 2 p.m., as a service to immigrants who are not yet citizens.Short presentations from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, FBI, English as 2nd Language Center, and Citizenship Class Centers will cover various aspects of becoming a USA Citizen including:

  • Who can apply for Citizenship,
  • How you apply,
  • When can you apply, and
  • Benefits of Citizenship

Additionally, immigration attorneys will provide individual consultations in various languages. The US Citizenship and Immigration Services will provide assistance to complete Citizenship applications for those wishing to bring their documentation for completion on-site.

Hospitality will include light refreshments; however, childcare facilities will not be available at the event.
