Garland Civic Theatre has scheduled auditions for a production of All Aboard for Broadway Feb. 17, 2013. All of the auditions will be held at 108 North Sixth Street in downtown Garland.
Appointments are required for all auditions. Please call 972-485-8884 to schedule your appointment. All roles are available in this ethnically diverse show. The age range is 16 to 65. Auditioners should bring a headshot and resume to their appointment, but no experience is required. They should be prepared to sing 16 bars of an upbeat Broadway song and 16 bars of a ballad. Please bring sheet music for songs. Auditioners may or may not be asked to sing both songs.
Callbacks will be on Sunday, Feb. 17 beginning at 6 p.m.
All Aboard for Broadway is an All-American musical featuring some of the best songs of George M. Cohan who wrote more than 300 songs in his long career.
Rehearsals begin on Feb. 24, 2013. Performances are scheduled for Apr. 11 through May 4, 2013.
